Job summary

Zoho in Vijayawada, India, seeks an experienced Head of Engineering & Maintenance to oversee hospital engineering, facility, and maintenance operations, ensuring reliable infrastructure, utilities, and equipment support.

You will lead a team, manage preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor electrical, HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, DG, fire-safety, and other systems, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in engineering and maintenance operations.
• Hospital or healthcare facility experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital engineering systems, utilities, and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations of the hospital.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor electrical, HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, DG, fire-safety, and other essential hospital systems.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of critical utilities and infrastructure.
• Supervise engineering and maintenance staff and coordinate work schedules.
• Coordinate with external service providers and contractors when required.
• Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate timely repairs.
• Support safety inspections and compliance with applicable hospital standards.
• Prepare maintenance plans and monitor departmental requirements and budgets.
