Chalhoub Group’s Capability Hub leads digital delivery for the luxury retail portfolio across Asia and beyond. The role focuses on translating business requirements into clearly defined features and delivering high-quality customer journeys on core commerce platforms.

You will drive agile maturity, manage cross-functional squads, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure value realization across platforms and brands.

Qualifications

What you'll be doing

Lead the Digital Delivery function across the digital commerce portfolio, translating business requirements into clearly defined features and delivery outcomes that enhance customer journeys across the Group’s digital platforms. Oversee delivery across core commerce (checkout and payments), product discovery, mobile apps, digital commerce platforms, and projects, ensuring priorities are translated into executable plans and delivered consistently. Drive strong delivery discipline, cross-functional alignment, and high-quality digital experiences for the Group’s brands.

• Translate the global digital commerce roadmap into a high-velocity delivery portfolio, partner with Dubai to align multi-squad capacity with brand priorities, ensuring predictable, high-quality execution.
• Direct complex delivery initiatives in collaboration with the CPO office, regional brand heads, and joint-venture partners.
• Drive value realization and business outcomes (conversion, AOV, adoption) by optimizing cross-omni dependency matrices, mitigating risks, and ensuring cohesive customer experiences.
• Champion Agile maturity and delivery excellence across the Omnichannel domain.
• Cultivate a high-performing guild of Capability Analysts and Leads, driving continuous improvement in delivery metrics (Sprint Velocity, Predictability Score, Cycle Time) while establishing rigorous Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) standards to eliminate defect escape.
• Responsible for developing the SLA report monthly and presenting this back to the brands to ensure Quality and product SLAs are met on a monthly basis.
• Responsible for billing across all the digital squads, ensuring that development and associated costs are billed to the business teams.
• Manage delivery demand versus squad capacity, ensuring commitments are realistic and dependencies across squads are understood before work is planned.
• Ensure the team of Analysts are focused on business requirements being translated into well-defined features, functional requirements, acceptance criteria and executable delivery outcomes before they enter development.
• Lead PI planning and delivery governance across the digital squads, maintaining objectives, risks, decisions and dependencies in Confluence.

What you’ll need to succeed

• 12 to 15 years in digital commerce, and at least 10 years of experience in digital development including leading multi-squad delivery and managing teams.
• Experience delivering digital commerce capabilities across end-to-end e-commerce journeys, including site redesigns, checkout enhancements, core commerce flows, cart and shopping bag management, promotions and pricing, payments, order tracking, mobile apps, product discovery, search, recommendations, and browse-to-buy journey optimization.
• Experience of agile delivery at scale, including PI planning, capacity planning, and delivery governance.
• Experience partnering with senior business stakeholders to agree delivery commitments, SLAs, and priorities.
• Usage proficiency in Jira and Confluence for planning, documentation, and reporting.
• Experience with digital commerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Shopify.
• Experience of billing, cost recovery, or commercial governance within an internal agency or shared services model.
• Certification in agile delivery, such as Scrum Master or SAFe, is nice to have.
• Preferred Profile: Retail or e-commerce domain experience. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. Profiles such as Head of Digital, Digital Lead, Lead Omnichannel Digital, or Lead of E-commerce.
