We are actively seeking a dedicated Head of Big Data Engineering to join our growing remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping our operations, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering exceptional results within your functional area. The ideal candidate will combine big-picture strategic thinking with hands-on, tactical execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Develop, communicate, and execute high-level overarching departmental strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and structurally scale a high-performing, globally distributed team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and engineers on new features.
• Collaborate directly with executive leadership to drive core company milestones.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8-10+ years of demonstrated, progressive success in a relevant functional role.
• High-level proficiency with Git, Jira, AWS/Azure, and relevant tech stacks.
• Solid understanding of version control systems, primarily Git.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and asynchronous communication capabilities.
• Highly organized methodology with a strong ability to prioritize effectively.
