Job summary

Elevation Capital seeks an AI Leader to define and execute the company’s AI strategy across products and platforms. You will own AI architecture, production readiness, and scalable infrastructure while collaborating with product, engineering, and design teams.

You will build and mentor high-performing AI engineering teams, evaluate new technologies, and ensure reliable, compliant AI systems that drive measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building and scaling distributed backend, platform, or infrastructure systems.
• 2+ years delivering production AI/LLM systems at scale.
• Experience with agentic AI systems including tool integrations and memory systems.
• Strong understanding of LLM evaluation, observability, guardrails, and reliability engineering.
• Experience fine-tuning large language models or working with open-source model ecosystems.
• Exposure to cloud-native architectures and AI deployment on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Leadership and communication skills to influence technical and business decisions.

You will oversee AI infrastructure, model development, platform reliability, and AI product innovation while partnering closely with product, engineering, and design teams to translate business goals into impactful AI-driven solutions.

Key Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and scaling distributed backend, platform, or infrastructure systems in high-growth environments.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience delivering production AI/LLM systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic AI systems with tool integrations, orchestration frameworks, and memory systems.
• Strong understanding of LLM evaluation methodologies, observability, monitoring, guardrails, and AI reliability engineering.
• Experience fine-tuning large language models, developing custom models, or working with open-source model ecosystems.
• Hands-on exposure to model optimization and acceleration frameworks such as ONNX, TensorRT, quantization, distillation, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and AI deployment patterns across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and business decisions.
