The role involves advising the CEO and senior leadership on strategic matters, managing contracts, litigation, and external counsel, ensuring compliance with employment laws, POSH, and corporate governance.

Qualificações

• LLM/LLB or MBA required with 20+ years in corporate governance, regulatory compliance and legal risk management.
• Experience in corporate governance and regulatory compliance is essential.
• Strong expertise in commercial contracts, litigation, dispute resolution, and legal risk management.
• Experience advising senior leadership on strategic business decisions is required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead enterprise-wide legal governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Advise the CEO, CFO and senior leadership on strategic legal matters.
• Oversee commercial contracts, high-value negotiations, partnerships, investments and government tenders.
• Manage litigation, dispute resolution and external legal counsel.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, employment regulations, POSH and corporate governance.
• Protect intellectual property and organizational interests.
• Develop legal policies, SOPs and contract management frameworks.
• Lead and develop the legal team while driving process improvement and digitization.

• Advise the CEO, CFO, and senior leadership on strategic legal matters.

• Manage litigation, dispute resolution, and external legal counsel.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, employment regulations, POSH, and corporate governance requirements.
• Protect intellectual property and organizational interests.
• Develop legal policies, SOPs, and contract management frameworks.
• Lead and develop the legal team while driving legal process improvement and digitization.

Preferred candidate profile

• LLM/LLB or MBA, with 20+ years of experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal risk management. Experience in the Automotive OEM industry is preferred.
• Extensive experience in corporate legal, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong expertise in commercial contracts, litigation, dispute resolution, and legal risk management.
• Experience advising senior leadership on strategic business decisions.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Prior experience in a corporate or manufacturing organization is preferred.
