Job summary

Aggreko in Pune invites a Head - Infra & Utilities Projects to lead end-to-end infrastructure and utilities initiatives for the India Integrated Campus. You will oversee factory expansions, corporate offices, and specialized facilities, driving on-time, on-budget execution with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 14–18 years of progressive project management experience in manufacturing/industrial sectors, with strong Civil, Structural, MEP, and HVAC expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 14–18 years of project management and construction experience.
• Proven track record in Greenfield and Brownfield factory projects in manufacturing/industrial sectors.
• Hands-on with cleanroom design (ISO Class 7/8 or better) and BOQ/cost estimation.
• PMP, LEED or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Execution: Lead and manage infrastructure and utilities projects, including factory expansions and corporate offices, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.
• Civil & Structural Engineering Oversight: Coordinate with consultants on design, construction, and commissioning of civil structures, ensuring integrity and compliance.
• MEP & HVAC System Management: Design, implement, and oversee MEP and HVAC systems for manufacturing facilities and offices.
• PESO Compliance & Safety: Ensure PESO regulations compliance and implement safety protocols, fire protection, and emergency response infrastructure.
• Cost Management & Procurement: Prepare and vet BOQs, conduct cost-benefit analysis, negotiate with contractors to optimize budgets.
• Interior Design & Space Planning: Oversee interior design and layout planning to optimize workflow and safety.
• Machine Installation & Infrastructure Support: Support equipment installation, coordinating civil works, foundations, and utilities.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Interface with architects, PMCs, contractors, and authorities for project success.
• Documentation & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain documentation and adhere to codes, safety norms, and approvals.

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Head - Infra & Utilities Projects , based in Pune . The role will lead the India Integrated Campus Green field facility Project including design, construction, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, interior/exterior development, and commissioning of manufacturing facilities, cleanrooms, corporate offices etc. The incumbent will manage end-to-end project execution from concept to completion, ensuring world class infrastructure and utility development practices, cost optimization, and timely delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.

What you'll do:

• Project Leadership & Execution: Lead and manage all infrastructure and utilities projects, including factory expansions and corporate offices, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
• Civil & Structural Engineering Oversight: Coordinate with consultants on the design, construction, and commissioning of all civil structures, ensuring structural integrity and compliance.
• MEP & HVAC System Management: Design, implement, and oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) and HVAC systems for manufacturing facilities, corporate offices, and specialized environments.
• PESO Compliance & Safety: Ensure full compliance with Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) regulations and implement robust safety protocols, fire protection systems, and emergency response infrastructure.
• Cost Management & Procurement: Prepare, review, and vet Bills of Quantities (BOQs), conduct cost-benefit analysis, and negotiate with contractors and vendors to optimize project budgets.
• Interior Design & Space Planning: Oversee interior design and fit-outs for various spaces and manage industrial layout planning to optimize workflow efficiency and safety.
• Machine Installation & Infrastructure Support: Provide support for equipment and machinery installation, coordinating civil works, foundation design, and utility connections to ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Interface with architects, consultants, project management companies (PMCs), contractors, and government authorities to ensure project success and compliance.
• Documentation & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure adherence to all building codes, fire safety norms, environmental regulations, and statutory approvals.

You are:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree or additional certifications (PMP, LEED, etc.) preferred.
• 14 - 18 years of progressive experience in project management, infrastructure development, and construction.
• Proven track record handling Greenfield and Brownfield factory projects in manufacturing/industrial sectors. Deep expertise in Civil, Structural, MEP, and HVAC design and construction.
• Hands‑on experience with cleanroom design and construction (ISO Class 7/8 or better) Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, vendor negotiation, and contract management.
• Knowledge of industrial layout planning, machine installation, and equipment commissioning.
• Strong understanding of building codes, fire safety, structural standards, and statutory compliance.
• Familiarity with heavy manufacturing requirements: vibration isolation, contamination control, ESD protection. Experience with pre‑engineered buildings (PEB), steel structures, and modular construction.
