The role requires 15–20 years of HR experience, leadership in industrial relations, and a track record in renewable energy manufacturing environments. Travel to plants will be required.

Qualifications

• MBA/PGDM in HR, Personnel Management or related discipline.
• 15–20 years of progressive HR experience including corporate and factory HR.
• Experience in renewable energy industry with manufacturing exposure.
• Translates business priorities into practical HR initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of industrial relations and contract labour management.
• Experience managing multiple locations with plant heads.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Role Overview

RSPG Group is seeking an HR Head who combines strong strategic HR capabilities with hands-on experience in managing factory HR within the renewable energy industry. The incumbent will lead HR across the corporate office and two plants, aligning people priorities with business growth while strengthening plant HR practices, workforce productivity and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with business plans, expansion and operational priorities.
• Partner with leadership on organisation structure, workforce planning, manpower budgets and change management.
• Lead talent acquisition for corporate, technical, manufacturing and leadership positions.
• Build performance management, succession planning, leadership development and talent retention programmes.
• Design compensation, benefits and reward frameworks that support competitiveness and performance.
• Oversee HR operations across both plants, including workforce deployment, attendance, shifts, employee welfare and contract labour management.
• Manage industrial relations, employee grievances and disciplinary matters; engage with unions or worker representatives, where applicable.
• Ensure applicable labour compliance, statutory records and audit readiness in coordination with plant teams and advisers.
• Work with plant leadership to improve workforce productivity, control manpower costs and strengthen shop-floor engagement.
• Drive HRMS adoption, payroll governance and HR analytics across locations.
• Build a capable HR team with clear accountability and consistent policies across corporate and plant operations.

Candidate Profile

• MBA/PGDM in HR, Personnel Management or a related discipline.
• 1520 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility for corporate and factory HR.
• Experience in the renewable energy industry, with direct exposure to manufacturing or plant operations.
• Proven ability to translate business priorities into practical HR initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of industrial relations, contract labour management and applicable labour requirements.
• Experience managing multiple locations and partnering with business leaders and plant heads.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and team leadership skills.

Key Selection Requirement

The candidate must demonstrate both strategic HR leadership and direct ownership of factory HR, including employee relations, compliance and workforce management.
