Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a Chartered Accountant to lead the Operations and Finance & Accounts for a Gift City based fund management entity. You will oversee end-to-end fund operations, governance, and robust financial management while partnering with senior management.

Responsibilities include investor onboarding, KYC/AML, subscriptions, redemptions, NAV validation, investor reporting, budgeting, taxation, audits, and ensuring compliance with IFSCA regulations.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 7-10 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in AIF, fund administration, asset management, fund accounting, finance or operations.
• Strong understanding of fund operations, investor servicing, fund accounting and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, process orientation and execution capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operations and Finance & Accounts functions of the organization to ensure seamless fund operations.
• Head end-to-end operations of the funds, including investor onboarding, KYC/AML, subscriptions, redemptions, and investor servicing.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, RTAs, custodians, banks, brokers, auditors, tax advisors and other service providers to ensure efficient fund operations.
• Oversee fund accounting, NAV validation, reconciliations, investor reporting and operational workflows.
• Head the Finance & Accounts function including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, banking, treasury, taxation, statutory audit and internal audit.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IFSCA regulations, internal policies and reporting requirements; maintain governance and controls.
• Drive process excellence initiatives, including automation, digitization and turnaround time improvements.
• Drive governance, compliance alignment and operational controls across business processes.
• Support setup of new funds, products and strategic initiatives.

About The Client

Our client is an IFSCA-registered Fund Management Entity based in GIFT City. They currently manage and advise three investment funds across GIFT City and offshore platforms.

The role will be responsible for ensuring seamless fund operations, a strong governance and control framework and robust financial management while working closely with the senior management.

• – Coordinate with fund administrators, RTAs, custodians, banks, brokers, auditors, tax advisors and other service providers to ensure efficient fund operations.

Qualification & Experience
