Job summary

Intellectual Capital Hr Consulting in Mumbai is hiring a Chartered Accountant to lead end-to-end fund accounting for PMS and AIF schemes. You will review NAV calculations, ensure SEBI-compliant reporting and drive a strong financial control framework.

Mandatory Big 4 experience; CFA/MBA in Finance is a plus. You will manage audits, coordinate with auditors and custodians, and mentor the fund accounting team.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant is mandatory (non-CA candidates will not be considered).
• Big 4 experience mandatory (articleship and/or post-qualification).
• Experience in an AIF environment is required.
• CFA or MBA (Finance) is an advantage, not a substitute.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end fund accounting for PMS and AIF schemes across Category I, II and III structures.
• Review and sign off NAV computation, unit capital, expense accruals, income recognition and distributions.
• Review and finalise scheme financial statements against applicable accounting standards and SEBI reporting requirements.
• Design and enforce the financial control framework - maker-checker, reconciliations and review discipline.
• Own the statutory and internal audit cycle for all schemes; liaise with statutory auditors, custodians, fund accountants, registrars, trustees and tax advisors.
• Lead selection, implementation and optimisation of fund accounting systems; automate NAV packs, reconciliations and reporting.
• Build, supervise, train and review the fund accounting team.

Job description
