Job summary

HRD House in Navsari, Gujarat, seeks a Head Engineering for a USFDA approved injectable pharma plant. You will lead engineering projects, CAPEX plans, budgets and plant improvements, guiding teams and ensuring GMP/ISO compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining plant utilities, coordinating with regulators, and driving SAP-driven purchasing and project execution. A strong tech background and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• B. Tech in engineering with pharma experience in injectable projects.
• Experience in GMP/ISO-compliant pharma environments and regulatory audits.
• Knowledge of CAPEX budgeting, costing, inventory, and SAP.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and team management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects, CAPEX plans, budgets, and plant improvements.
• Lead engineering teams, allocate resources, prioritize projects, provide technical guidance.
• Maintain GMP, ISO, QA, EHS, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee utilities: boiler, clean steam, WFI, HVAC, pumps, water systems.
• Coordinate with internal departments, external agencies, and regulatory authorities.
• Plan, costing, budgeting, documentation, purchasing, SAP-related activities.
• Implement engineering best practices and ensure timely completion of projects.

Role & responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible as Head engineering at their USFDA approved

Injectable Plant based at Navsari,Gujarat.

• Candidate will be responsible for managing engineering projects, CAPEX plans, budgets, and plant improvement initiatives.
• Candidate will be responsible for leading engineering teams, resource allocation, project prioritization, and technical guidance.
• Candidate will be responsible for maintaining GMP, ISO, QA, EHS, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Candidate will be responsible for engineering and maintenance of pharmaceutical utilities including boiler, clean steam, WFI, PSG, compressed air, chilled/cooling water, HVAC, pumps, and water systems.
• Candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and overseeing mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, and production engineering activities.
• Candidate will be responsible for project planning, costing, budgeting, documentation, purchasing, inventory management, and SAP-related activities.
• Candidate will be responsible for implementing engineering best practices and ensuring timely completion of projects and assignments.
• Candidate will be responsible for coordinating with internal departments, external agencies, and regulatory authorities.

Candidate Profile

• Candidate should have B. Tech Engineering and experience in pharmaceutical engineering, project management, and technical operations in Injectable section.
• Candidate should have thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, industrial engineering, and plant utilities.
• Candidate should have experience in GMP/ISO-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing environments and regulatory audits.
• Candidate should have strong knowledge of CAPEX, budgeting, costing, inventory, purchasing, and SAP.
• Candidate should have excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, planning, and team-management skills.
• Candidate should have the ability to manage multiple engineering projects and deliver results within timelines.
