About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned product leader for our client a leading financial services brand to head the Digital & Product function for their Supply Chain Finance (SCF) business. This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining the digital product vision, owning the product P&L, and building best-in-class technology platforms that power the SCF ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines deep domain expertise in supply chain finance with a strong track record of digital product delivery and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap


• Define and execute the digital product roadmap for the SCF business, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth plans.


• Continuously assess market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify new product opportunities and enhancements.


• P&L Ownership


• Own and manage the SCF product P&L, driving profitability, unit economics, and scalable growth.


• Set and track key business and product metrics (adoption, revenue, margins, portfolio quality) and course-correct as needed.


• Platform Development & Delivery


• Lead the development and launch of technology platforms - including Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS) - for the SCF ecosystem.


• Drive digitisation of end-to-end customer journeys covering onboarding, underwriting, disbursement, and collections.


• Partner with engineering and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of platform capabilities.


• Team Leadership


• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of product managers.


• Foster a culture of ownership, data-driven decision-making, and customer-centricity within the product organisation.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration


• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - Sales, Risk, Credit, Operations, and Technology - to enhance customer experience and drive product adoption.


• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into clear product requirements.


• Stakeholder Management & Reporting


• Present business insights, product strategy, roadmap progress, and performance updates to senior management and leadership forums.


• Manage relationships with external partners, fintech ecosystems, and platform vendors where relevant.

Role Requirements

• Experience: 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain Finance - in product management and/or sales roles.


• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financials, especially P&L management, pricing, and uniteconomics.


• Digital Delivery: Proven experience in digital product implementation; hands-on exposure to LOS/LMS platforms strongly preferred.


• Leadership: Strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading product teams.


• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the SCF ecosystem - anchors, dealers/vendors, invoice financing, and related credit products.


• Education: Graduate degree required; MBA/PGDM or equivalent qualification preferred.

A strategic yet execution-focused leader who has scaled digital lending or SCF products, is comfortable owning a P&L, and can inspire teams while working seamlessly across business, risk, and technology functions.
