With increasing focus on inorganic growth, capacity expansion, and strategic investments, the business is looking to strengthen its corporate development function by hiring a senior leader who can bring rigor, strategic thinking, and execution capability across transactions.
Job Description
The Head of Corporate Development will be responsible for leading strategic finance and transaction-related initiatives, including:
- End-to-end ownership of M&A activities, including target evaluation, deal structuring, valuation, negotiations, and execution.
- Building and reviewing complex financial models to assess investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic projects.
- Leading due diligence processes (financial, commercial, and operational) in collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.
- Driving strategic initiatives such as expansion planning, inorganic growth assessments, and long-range business evaluations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate for this role should have:
- MBA or CA qualification (CFA is an added advantage).
- 10-15 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in financial modelling, M&A execution, and due diligence.
- Prior exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or asset-heavy sectors preferred.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in a high-growth environment.
