Job description

We are seeking a visionary and strategically-minded Head – Contracting (Law Graduate) to own and elevate our business-level contracting standards, governance, and post-award performance framework. This critical leadership role focuses on high-value and high-risk contracts across our infrastructure and diversified business portfolios.

As the custodian of commercial risk management, you will ensure our business units operate within defined risk appetites while aggressively achieving commercial objectives. You will spearhead everything from clause library design and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) digitization to cross-functional governance and post-award advisory.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Contract Governance & Standardization
• Post-Award Contracting Governance & Performance
• Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
• Reporting Matrix: Reports to Head - CLM / EVP - Contracts & Compliance.
• Internal Collaborators: Extensive daily partnership with corporate and divisional leadership across Procurement, Legal, Finance, Operations, and specific business sectors.
• External Touchpoints: Participate in strategic sessions with vendors, clients, and government stakeholders alongside frontline teams as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: LLB from a reputed institution. An LLM, PG Diploma in Business Law, or a recognized Certification in Contract Management is highly advantageous.
• Experience: 12–15 years of rich, progressive experience in contracts, legal, or commercial management.
• Industry Footprint: Substantial, proven exposure to large-scale sectors, specifically Airport, Energy, Land Development, Infrastructure, or Sports/Large-scale Entertainment.
• Leadership Track Record: Demonstrated success leading contract risk frameworks in complex, multi-business unit environments.
• Digital Savvy: Hands-on experience deploying or managing CLM software and extracting data-driven risk insights.
