Job summary

Adani Enterprises Limited seeks a senior technology leader to define the long-term roadmap for battery cells and energy storage. You will drive R&D for next-generation chemistries and establish partnerships with global institutes and technology providers.

The role includes leading IP development, overseeing Cylindrical, Prismatic, and Pouch cell programs, and setting performance benchmarks for density, life, safety, and cost.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
• M.Tech/MS preferred.
• PhD in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Energy Storage, or Battery Technology highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term technology roadmap for battery cells and energy storage solutions.
• Identify emerging battery technologies, materials, and manufacturing innovations.
• Drive R&D initiatives for next-generation lithium-ion and advanced battery chemistries.
• Establish technology partnerships with research institutes, universities, and global technology providers.
• Lead intellectual property development, patents, and technology differentiation initiatives.
• Oversee development of Cylindrical, Prismatic, and Pouch Cell technologies.
• Guide cell chemistry selection, electrode design, electrolyte optimization, and performance enhancement.
• Establish performance benchmarks for energy density, cycle life, safety, and cost.
• Drive technology transfer from laboratory development to commercial-scale manufacturing.
