Job summary

Jain International Trade Organisation - India is seeking an experienced RMS Head to lead Risk Management for our stock broking business. The role oversees market risk, client exposure, margin monitoring, and regulatory compliance across Equity, Derivatives, Currency, and Commodity segments.

You will develop and implement risk policies, SOPs, and internal controls; coordinate with Compliance, Operations, Dealing, IT and Finance; monitor broker exposure and conduct daily RMS MIS reporting; and

Qualifications

• Experience leading RMS in stock broking or similar financial services.
• Strong knowledge of market risk concepts, margin requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall Risk Management System (RMS) operations.
• Monitor client margins, exposures, MTM, and trading risks.
• Ensure timely margin collection and compliance with exchange regulations.
• Monitor high-risk clients and take preventive actions to minimize financial exposure.
• Approve or restrict trading limits based on risk assessment.
• Manage square-off processes for margin shortfalls and risk breaches.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI, NSE, BSE, MCX, and Exchange risk management guidelines.
• Develop and implement risk policies, SOPs, and internal control mechanisms.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Operations, Dealing, IT, and Finance teams for risk mitigation.
• Monitor broker exposure, client concentration, and overall business risk.
• Analyze daily risk reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Handle client escalations related to RMS and trading restrictions.
• Conduct periodic audits and risk reviews to strengthen internal controls.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the RMS team.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly RMS MIS and management reports.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement required process improvements.
