Role

We are looking for an experienced HCM Functional Specialist to lead SAP HCM implementation and support for UK/IE payroll. The ideal candidate has deep functional knowledge of SAP HCM, a strong client focus, and a track record of delivering high‑quality support and project rollouts.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, Business or Technical emphasis.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP HCM application implementation, UK/Ireland Payroll.
• Experience with 3+ project rollouts.
• Strong customer‑facing and client‑focus skills.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
• Commitment to the customer, team and project, with a service‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure UK/IE payroll integrated into the AS department.
• Provide application support and implementation consultancy through advice, guidance and technical activities.
• Generate error‑free, easy‑to‑maintain implementations and customizations respecting Strada best practices.
• Work with Business Analysts and clients to identify requirements, design enhancements and functionality.
• Own functional process ownership of multiple business process areas.
• Organize and facilitate problem‑solving discussions with clients, internal operations and project managers.
• Perform configuration work, configuration reviews and serve as integration owner for multiple process areas.
• Prepare functionality specifications, deliver to ABAP developers, and create Function Design Documents (FDD).
• Operate system and integration tests to ensure applications meet specifications.
• Document technical and functional issues.
• Manage daily priorities, support project priorities and meet deadlines.
• Regularly report status and progress to the team/project manager.
• Maintain internal and external contacts and communication channels, communicating status, resolution and root cause of assigned issues.
• Understand general flows in HR and the SAP HR architecture.

Educational Qualification

Any Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification.
