HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer with 5–15 years of experience in Chennai area to lead complex high-speed designs and bring-up of boards.

You will work on Schematic design, board verification, and system-level testing, interfacing with A-grade processors and PCIe/USB and other high-speed protocols. This role calls for hands-on debugging and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifikationen

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or a relevant field.
• 5-15 years of hardware design experience preferred.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces and board bring-up.

Aufgaben

• Schematic board design, verification, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Component selection, power, EMI, sensors, and control loop design.
• Board bring-up and debugging, debug of hardware issues.

• Experience on Highspeed interface such as DDR3/4/5, SGMII, RGMII, Ethernet(1G/10G/25G), USB 3.0 and high speed serdes interfaces like PCIe, SATA
• Experience on Processors – Jetson NVDIA, AMD, NxP and Ti based Processors/Microcontrollers based circuit Design
• Experience on High-speed testing
• Experience on Eye-pattern and Jitter measurements for High Speed Interfaces like PCIe Gen4, 10G Ethernet
• Experience in Design verification and validation.
• Experience in High speed design Board bring-up
• Tool Knowledge: Mentor Graphic Expedition DX designer, LTSpice and Pspice, Cadence Allegro V17.2, Orcad Capture/Concept HDL.

Hardware Design Engineer
