Job Description (Posting).

5+ years experience in Azure cloud platform as Cloud Security Engineer. Solid understanding of Cloud Native Security Controls in Azure including Microsoft Defender for Azure, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Defender for Server, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoints. Experience with administering Azure Security & Compliance Center and a deep understanding of cloud service architecture. Basic monitoring capabilities for Azure & O365. Knowledge and experience utilizing and protecting cloud-based system security (infrastructure & applications). Experience in implementing security controls in the cloud.

Experience in information technology security is a strong requirement, and the person should have experience in at least one or more technologies at some time. Must be able to demonstrate the security issues like vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and native controls to support operations. Experience in audits of ITSM processes (Change Management, Incident/Problem Management). ITIL V3 foundation is a must. Solid understanding of addressing security in vNets, VMs, containers, and serverless environments, as well as patch and vulnerability management, incident response, identity and access management, and encryption. Knowledgeable about NIST, CIS guidelines, and various other IT Security regulations & baseline controls. Strong analytics & reporting skills with strong communication & presentation abilities. Ability to work with all levels of clients & internal resources.

1. To clearly understand the client’s cybersecurity environment and respective product.
2. To monitor, configure, and troubleshoot cybersecurity issues and related monitoring tools.
3. To analyze and validate cybersecurity incidents in detail and help the L3 team with RCA or data/logs collection.
4. To enable knowledge transfer or training through creation or maintenance of configuration documents, test plans, operational manuals, and provide operational training to the L1 team.
5. To analyze and fine-tune cybersecurity policies, participate in cybersecurity review calls pertaining to change requests, and make recommendations on cybersecurity policy changes.
6. To implement changes, monitor security device performance, and implement performance tuning when necessary.
7. To prepare analyses and reports to highlight the project progress or challenges and ensure quality and accuracy to the client.
