Job summary

Skynetics in Bengaluru seeks a hands-on embedded hardware tester to advance RF subsystems, EW concepts, and drone communication platforms.

You will perform functional, integration, and system-level testing of embedded hardware and RF hardware, and you will debug issues at board and signal levels using lab instruments and RF test setups.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in electronics (digital + analog) and embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience in hardware and firmware testing/debugging.
• Ability to read schematics, datasheets, and hardware design documents.
• Familiarity with lab instruments (DSO, multimeter, logic analyzer, power supply).
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Job description

Our products include defense and aerospace applications, including Electronic Warfare systems, Satellites and subsystems, and Advanced IoT modules.

What Youll Work On

• Real-world embedded systems, RF subsystems, and drone communication platforms
• Signal-level debugging using advanced lab equipment
• Exposure to Electronic Warfare (EW) and systems
• Digital + analog hardware validation, including power subsystems
• End-to-end system testing from board bring-up to field validation
• Multi-domain exposure: sensors, communication interfaces, control systems

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing of embedded hardware and firmware
• Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing of RF hardware
• Debug issues at board, signal levels
• Work with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and RF test setups
• Debug issues across digital, analog, and power circuits
• Support PCB bring-up, board validation, and troubleshooting
• Validate power supplies, regulators, battery systems, and load conditions
• Work with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers and logic analyzers
• Assist in robotics and drone system validation, including actuators and control loops
• Provide technical support and issue resolution for deployed systems
