Hardware (Board) Design Engineer

The ideal candidate is a creative team player who will be able to think strategically across different media platforms and own the creation process from inception to production. The role involves designing printed circuit boards with Intel silicon and external vendor silicon for customers, ranging from full-sized main boards to small daughter cards. The candidate should be able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop digital and analog circuits.
• Interfacing with design teams in other divisions.
• Debugging and evaluating motherboard and/or circuit problems.
• Creating schematics and directing printed circuit board layout using CAD.

Qualifications

• Hardware design experience of 4 to 5 years.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with design, evaluation and manufacturing engineers, customers, technical marketing engineers, material planners and program managers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge and experience in schematic capture, PCB layout, and typical iab tools.
• Experience with Allegro and Cadence design tools.
• Bachelor's degree in design or related field or relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Experience on various social media platforms.
• Enrollment: Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (desired).
