Job summary

upGrad Rekrut is hiring a Hadoop Administrator with 5+ years of experience to join a global engineering team in Bengaluru, India. You will manage Hadoop cluster health, perform tuning, and handle L2 production support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include security management with Kerberos/Ranger when needed, and working with Kafka, HBase, Oozie, and Sqoop to optimize data workloads. Strong troubleshooting skills are essential for reliability.

Qualifications

• Graduation is required.
• 5+ years of Hadoop administration experience.
• Experience with Cloudera/CDP administration.
• Hands-on with HDFS, Hive, Impala and Spark.
• Experience in YARN and cluster management, monitoring, and tuning.
• Troubleshooting and production (L2) support experience.
• User and security management (Kerberos/Ranger) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Kafka, HBase, Oozie and Sqoop is preferred.
