Job summary

GyanSys Inc. is seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer with 5+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA development and modern SAP technologies.

The role focuses on ABAP on HANA, RAP, CDS Views, OData, Fiori, BTP, and clean core development principles. You will design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications, ensure performance optimization, and collaborate with functional consultants and external integrations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA architectures.
• Strong understanding of RAP, CDS and OData services for Fiori.
• Experience with SAP BTP and extension development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and S/4HANA.
• Build scalable applications using RAP (Managed & Unmanaged Scenarios).
• Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDPs, and HANA-based solutions.
• Create and expose OData Services for SAP Fiori and external integrations.
• Develop custom SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and extend standard apps.
• Work on SAP BTP services and SAP Extension Suite developments.
• Develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Implement ABAP enhancements using BADI, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, and Enhancements.
• Perform performance tuning using SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis, and HANA optimization.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support integration with SAP and non-SAP systems through APIs, IDocs, RFC, REST, and SOAP.
• Participate in code reviews and follow SAP clean code principles.
• Prepare technical design documents and support UAT activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), CDS Views, OData Services, SAP Fiori, BTP, and clean core development principles.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications while ensuring performance optimization and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and S/4HANA technologies.
• Build scalable applications using RAP (Managed & Unmanaged Scenarios).

Educational Qualification

• BE/BTech/MCA/BCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Preferred Certifications

• SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver.
• SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP for SAP HANA.
• SAP Certified Associate - Back-End Developer (RAP).
• SAP BTP Developer Certification.
• Immediate joiner/ Serving notice period preferred.
