Job Purpose

Technical Lead in the Technology Consulting team, working on various Guidewire implementation projects for our global clients.

Client Responsibilities

• Lead as a technical team leader in various streams of Guidewire implementation projects.
• Interface and communicate with onsite coordinators.
• Plan and monitor project deliverables.
• Mentor project team members.
• Provide regular status reports to managers and onsite coordinators.
• Engage with customer representatives as needed.
• Travel to client locations as required.

People Responsibilities

• Manage performance of direct reports according to organizational policies.
• Foster teamwork and lead by example.
• Train and mentor project resources.
• Participate in organization-wide people initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

BE/BTech/MCA with 3 to 7 years of relevant industry experience.

Core Competencies & Skills

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter configuration, including concepts like Delinquency, Disbursements, Collections, Write-off, Transfer Policy, and New Payment Batch.
• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.
• Proficiency in Java 5+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT.
• Strong knowledge of Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and enterprise messaging systems.
• Experience with Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic.
• Real-time enterprise system integration experience, preferably in insurance domain.
• Understanding of software development best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Client-facing experience.

Preferred Experience: Guidewire implementations and upgrades in the insurance sector.

Preferred Skills:

• Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration experience.
• Insurance domain expertise, especially in Property & Casualty.
