Job summary

Heptarc is seeking an experienced Guidewire professional to lead integration design and development across Guidewire centers and external services. You will work with diverse teams to implement and optimize Guidewire solutions, including Cloud Platform exposure, and ensure robust data models, UI components, and Gosu scripting.

The role requires hands-on experience with Guidewire products, strong SQL skills, and experience with common integration tools and servers.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience in at least one Guidewire product (ClaimCenter/PolicyCenter/Billing Center).
• Well versed in integration design and development.
• Strong knowledge in Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting, UI, data model).
• Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Good knowledge in Web services (SOAP and Restful API), XML, JSON schema, Messaging, GXModel, batch processes, workqueues, integration gateway.
• Expertise in designing integrations of GW centers with external services.
• Experience on Oracle/SQL Server and strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience with SCM tools such as GIT, TFS, SVN.
• Knowledge of application servers/containers like Tomcat/JBoss/WebSphere.
• Good communication, analytical skills, and team mentoring abilities.
• Experience in Agile SCRUM or SAFe.
• Insurance domain knowledge; Property & Casualty preferred.
• Sound knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
• At least two Guidewire implementations; strong estimation, leadership, and code review skills.
