Job summary

PATH India Ltd. (Prakash Asphaltings & Toll Highways (India) Ltd.) is seeking a GST Manager in Mhow (Indore, Madhya Pradesh) to own end-to-end GST compliance, audits and assessments across projects, toll operations and offices.

You will prepare and file returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9/9C), manage audits and notices, ensure ITC, RCM, TDS/TCS, registrations, and coordinate with sites, procurement, billing and accounts teams to ensure timely, accurate filings.

Qualifications

• CA / CMA / M.Com / B.Com with GST certification or qualification.
• 4–5 years of GST compliance and audit experience.
• Strong working knowledge of CGST/IGST Acts, GST portal, Tally/SAP and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C and other returns, including monthly reconciliation with GSTR-2B/2A and e-invoice/e-way bill data.
• Manage GST audits, departmental assessments, scrutiny, notices and replies (SCN, DRC, appeals).
• Coordinate with consultants and legal counsel for notices and appeals.
• Ensure correct ITC claims, RCM, TDS/TCS, works-contract and toll/construction-specific tax treatment, and registrations across states.
• Support statutory, internal and tax audits with GST data and reconciliations.
• Monitor changes in GST law and advise management on tax impact, risk and cost optimisation.
• Coordinate with project sites, procurement, billing and accounts teams on invoicing and vendor compliance.

Role Summary

Own end-to-end GST compliance, audits and assessments for PATH India Ltd. across its projects, toll operations and offices, ensuring timely, accurate and defensible filings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C and other returns, including the monthly reconciliation of books with GSTR-2B/2A and e-invoice/e-way bill data.
• Manage GST audits, departmental assessments, scrutiny, notices and replies (SCN, DRC, appeals), coordinating with consultants and legal counsel.
• Ensure correct ITC claims, RCM, TDS/TCS, works-contract and toll/construction-specific tax treatment, and registrations across states.
• Support statutory, internal and tax audits with GST data and reconciliations.
• Monitor changes in GST law and advise management on tax impact, risk and cost optimisation.
• Coordinate with project sites, procurement, billing and accounts teams on invoicing and vendor compliance.
• Maintain the compliance calendar, MIS and documentation for audit readiness.

Qualifications and Experience

• CA / CMA / M.Com / B.Com with a GST certification or qualification 4–5 years of relevant GST compliance and audit experience, preferably in infrastructure, construction, EPC or toll sectors.
• Strong working knowledge of the CGST/IGST Acts, GST portal, Tally/SAP and advanced Excel.
• Experience handling notices, assessments and appeals.
