Job summary

Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) in Gujarat seeks a Group Leader - Maintenance (Mechanical) to lead mechanical maintenance on shift, ensure machine availability and drive disciplined shift operations.

You will monitor MTTR/MTBF, plan skill development for shift members, review maintenance costs and uphold 5S standards while coordinating with internal teams and external auditors. 3–10 years of experience with a Diploma in Mechanical is preferred.

Qualifications

• Good Technical knowledge about electrical & mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of MTTR & MTBF, preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of critical spares.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring 5S during the shift and maintenance activities as per plan.
• Ensure shift discipline and optimize manpower rotations.
• Review and reduce repair & maintenance costs and indirect consumables.
• Attend breakdowns and ensure timely maintenance as per schedule.
• Approve deviations in shift and manage external interactions.
