Job summary

Upcrest Engineering invites applications for Sr. PHE Design Engineer to lead Public Health Engineering infrastructure design for housing, townships, hospitals and commercial developments. You will prepare DPRs, cost estimates, water distribution and sewer networks, and coordinate with firefighting and plumbing layouts.

This role involves detailed design across projects in India, with emphasis on sustainable, compliant solutions and cross-disciplinary collaboration for state-of-the-art facilities.

Qualifications

• Sewerage system network design, detailing and integration with water systems.
• Water supply, distribution and network optimization planning and detailing.
• Storm water drainage and rainwater harvesting system design considerations.
• Preparation of DPRs and project cost estimates for PHE projects.
• Environmental impact assessments related to public health engineering.
• Fire fighting system layouts andNBC/IS code considerations.
• Internal plumbing networks and pump/hydraulic calculations.
• Site development and OHT/UGT detailing for large projects.
• Calc of pipe sizes, head losses and rainwater harvesting pits.

Responsibilities

• Public Health Engineering infrastructure design and detailing for housing, townships, hospitals and commercial buildings.
• Prepare bills of quantities, cost estimates and DPRs for water supply, sewage and drainage networks.
• Plan water distribution, sewage collection and effluent disposal networks with storage and pumping schemes.
• Design firefighting networks and associated pipe sizing and pump calculations.
• Detail external/internal plumbing networks and tank provisions (OHT/UGT).
• Ensure compliance with NBC/IS codes across industrial and residential projects.
