Role Summary and Impact

We are currently looking for a Group Head – Strategy to join us for one of the biggest global brands.

The Strategy group is focused on moving the discipline forward into a new era of insights and business solutions. You’ll be responsible for inspiring and applying audience, market, and product insights to our clients' objectives, creating robust communication strategies, and working with our internal teams to devise the best integrated strategies. We also push for innovation, exploring new data sets, signals from social platforms, frameworks, testing structures, and solutions for our clients.

Reporting of the role:

This role reports to the Strategy Director for this account.

Measures of success:

In three months:

  • Full understanding of our client’s business and your role.

  • Driving strategic initiatives proactively.
  • Understanding the client’s business and working accordingly.
  • Leading long-term and short-term strategic planning.

In twelve months:

  • Becoming a key point of contact within the agency and with clients.
  • Bridging local clients and regional/global teams.
  • Winning awards for strategy at forums like FOM, Cannes, Smarties, RAMAI, etc.
Responsibilities of the role:
  • Creating and presenting strategy plans for various client units globally.
  • Defining marketing calendars and promotional strategies.
  • Setting data analytics approaches to drive business growth.
  • Analyzing competition, category trends, and macro/micro factors.
Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong skills in dissecting brand, market, and internal data to build strategies.
  • Expertise in tools like TGI, GWI, AOP, and scenario planning.
  • Experience in media platforms and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to persuade and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with premium FMCG, technology, e-commerce, consulting, or data analytics companies is an advantage.
  • Curiosity, collaboration, and a go-getter attitude.
