Job summary

• Understanding of GST, Income Tax and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Group Finance & Accounts function across all business units.
• Develop and implement the Group's financial strategy, budgets and business plans.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, cash-flow projections and financial forecasts.
• Provide timely MIS, financial analysis and management reports to MD and Board.
• Monitor profitability, margins, cost control and financial performance of units.
• Lead working capital management including receivables, payables, inventory and cash flows.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, consultants and statutory authorities.
• Oversee banking facilities, working capital limits and term loans.
• Monitor finance costs and treasury management.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting.
• Oversee statutory audits, tax audits and other financial reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, TDS and standards.
• Lead financial risk management and internal controls across the Group.
• Strengthen costing systems, product profitability and variance analysis.
• Provide evaluations for capex, expansion, investments and major decisions.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Group Finance & Accounts function across all business units.
• Develop and implement the Group's financial strategy, budgets and business plans.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, cash-flow projections and financial forecasts.
• Provide timely and accurate MIS, financial analysis and management reports to the MD and Board.
• Monitor profitability, margins, cost control and financial performance of individual business units.
• Lead working capital management, including receivables, payables, inventory and cash flows.
• Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, consultants and statutory authorities.
• Oversee fund-based and non-fund-based banking facilities, working capital limits and term loans.
• Monitor interest costs, finance costs and overall treasury management.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting.
• Oversee statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit and other financial reviews.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, TDS, accounting standards and other statutory requirements.
• Lead financial risk management and internal control systems across the Group.
• Review and strengthen costing systems, product profitability and variance analysis.
• Provide financial evaluation and recommendations for capital expenditure, expansion projects, investments and major business decisions.
• Support the management in business planning, expansion, funding and strategic decision-making.

• Establish strong financial policies, processes, controls and governance across the Group.
• Guide, develop and lead the Finance & Accounts team across various locations.
• Work closely with the MD, Directors, Business Heads and other senior management on financial and commercial matters.

Preferred candidate profile

2025 years of overall experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong experience in a senior finance leadership / CFO / Group CFO / Finance Head role.
• Candidates with experience in Textile / Spinning / Manufacturing industries will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning & analysis, budgeting, costing, MIS, taxation, treasury and working capital management.
• Proven experience in handling banks, financial institutions and large credit facilities.
• Strong understanding of GST, Income Tax, TDS, Companies Act and statutory compliance.
• Experience in managing multiple manufacturing units / companies / business divisions will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, strategic and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Ability to work closely with the Chairman / MD / Directors / Board and senior management.
