Responsibilities

• Secure Cloud Infrastructure: Design and deploy secure environments ensuring alignment with HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, PHI, and PII standards.
• Firewall & Endpoint Protection: Manage and configure firewalls, WAFs, and endpoint security solutions to protect cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
• GRC & Compliance Support: Contribute to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives by helping develop and implement policies, assess risks, maintain audit trails, and support compliance reporting.
• Security Audits & Risk Assessments: Assist in vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and audits to identify and remediate risks, ensuring continuous improvement of security posture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–7 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or related areas.
• Working knowledge of GRC frameworks, including policy creation, risk identification, and compliance reporting.
• Understanding of HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, and data protection best practices.
• Familiarity with firewall management, network segmentation, and endpoint protection tools.
• Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Experience working with Canadian or international clients is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset and good written and verbal communication skills.
