General Summary

Our power efficient GPU solution is fundamental to enable exciting new markets such as VR, IoT, AI, drone, and autonomous driving. GPU compiler is a key component of graphics solution. We are looking for talented, self‑motivated engineers to create world class GPU compiler products that enable high performance graphics and compute with low power consumption. The engineers will actively work with compiler developers on testing and verification for various graphics languages and development targets, and develop high quality automation tools. All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams and in the Company.

Minimum Qualifications

• Tools/automation development using Python or Perl (preferred Python)
• Good experience in developing medium to large scale automation frameworks
• Expertise in programming using any scripting language (Python or Perl)
• Good communication at multiple levels and across multiple disciplines
• Hands‑on debugging experience on target, simulation model
• Team player, able to collaborate and provide input to a multifunctional team
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and independent, capable of working with limited supervision, pro‑actively reporting on status and tasks
• Willingness to take on tasks outside a narrowly defined role and desire to be multi‑skilled
• 3 to 7 years of hands‑on experience in the above areas
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or related field and 4+ years of systems engineering or related work experience
• Master’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or related field and 3+ years of systems engineering or related work experience
• PhD in engineering, information systems, computer science, or related field and 2+ years of systems engineering or related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Medium to large automation development experience using Python (preferred) or Perl
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Docker, Microsoft Azure, Jenkins
• Development background using C/C++ and graphics knowledge is a plus
• Experience in Android and Windows build systems, integration and associated tools, issue analysis and resolution
• Experience in Linux/Windows continuous integration development and Linux/Windows build system enhancement
• Plan and execute product software integration, testing and build/release
• Familiarity with smartphone development environment such as Android SDK is a plus

Educational Requirements

• Required: Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Preferred: Master’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
