Adecco India is seeking a Graphic Designer (Telugu) to craft social media creatives, posters and memes with a focus on Telugu internet culture and political communication. You will collaborate with writers and editors to translate briefs into strong visuals for campaigns and social assets.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling typography, layouts, and visual storytelling across multiple formats, with an emphasis on current trends and digital techniques.

Qualifications

GRAPHIC DESIGNER TELUGU

A creative Graphic Designer who understands social media design, Telugu internet culture, memes, humour, satire and political communication, and can turn creative ideas and briefs into visually strong, engaging and relevant designs.

Responsibilities

• Design social media creatives, political posters, memes, carousels, thumbnails and campaign content.
• Consistently create impactful communication collaterals across various mediums.
• Convert creative ideas and briefs into visually strong and engaging designs.
• Take a brief, understand the team's needs and specifications, and translate it into effective visual communication.
• Understand and effectively use Telugu meme culture, humour, satire, political communication and internet trends.
• Create designs that are simple, sharp, attention-grabbing and relevant to current trends.
• Work on typography, layouts, photo manipulation, illustrations and visual compositions.
• Create multiple design variations and adapt creatives for different platforms and formats.
• Work closely with content writers, video editors and the wider creative team to execute ideas.
• Design creatives in collaboration with copywriters in a fast-paced work environment.
• Consult and coordinate with stakeholders across various teams and incorporate feedback where required.
• Stay updated with current design trends, social media formats, AI design tools, emerging visual styles and new digital technologies.
• Continuously discover and implement new technologies and industry best practices to improve efficiency.
• Deliver high-quality designs within tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Create video content using original and repurposed footage, where required.
• Develop and review scripts and raw material for videos, wherever the role requires video support.
• Trim footage segments, put together sequences and ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects where required.
• Create rough and final cuts for video content, where required.

Requirements

• 21–27 years old.
• 1–8 years of work experience in an art/design role with an advertising agency (ATL/digital), brand or startup.
• Strong command of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and CorelDRAW.
• Proficiency in Canva, Figma or similar design tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with editing software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects and Final Cut.
• Hands-on experience with AI design tools and emerging digital technologies.
• Good understanding of typography, composition, colour, visual hierarchy, layout and visual principles.
• Excellent understanding of Telugu language, Telugu meme culture and internet trends.
• Good awareness of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and national politics.
• Strong sense of humour, creativity and visual storytelling.
• Ability to understand a concept quickly and translate it into a strong visual communication.
• Ability to translate a brief into fine-crafted communication collateral.
• Familiarity with special effects, animation, 3D and compositing.
• Keen eye for aesthetics, visual quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Fast, enthusiastic and comfortable working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Experience in political, meme, news or social media design is a plus.
• Should have created posts, ads and banners for social media in a previous role.
• Editing machine/desktop is mandatory.
