Job summary

ARDEM Data Services Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Graphic Designer for remote, home-based work to support marketing collateral, product literature, and technical documentation for a US client.

The role emphasizes production design skills over engineering drafting, with an expectation of 3–4 years of graphic design experience and a strong portfolio. Familiarity with 3D renderings, product specs, and scale drawings is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on design experience will be considered.
• 3–4 years of graphic design experience, with a strong production portfolio demonstrating work with marketing collateral, product literature, technical documents, or catalogs.
• Industry background in construction supply, commercial building products, plumbing/bathroom accessories, or manufacturing is strongly preferred – familiarity with technical product environments is a distinct advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign required, including multi-page layout, templates, paragraph/character styles, tables, and production-ready file preparation.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop required (retouching, masking, background removal, color correction, compositing).
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Acrobat Pro; experience with Adobe Bridge and Lightroom is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Smartsheet, HubSpot, and AI productivity tools preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and revision cycles simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor and ability to collaborate across departments.
• High attention to detail, strong quality-control instincts, and a self-directed work style.
• Portfolio of relevant design, product literature, artwork, and/or image editing work required.

Responsibilities

• Technical Documentation Support: Update Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Installation Instructions, and Product Specification Sheets by revising text content, formatting, branding elements, and layout; without creating the underlying engineering or dimensional drawings.
• Production Design Support: Update brochures, catalogs, sell sheets, marketing collateral, presentation materials, and product literature using established templates and brand guidelines.
• Product Image Editing: Perform product image cleanup, background removal or replacement, color and finish adjustments, retouching, cropping, resizing, and optimization.
• Digital Asset Management: Organize production files, maintain version control, archive completed work, and prepare packaged production files.
• Production Workflow Support: Incorporate review comments and revise artwork following stakeholder feedback; coordinate clarification requests with internal teams.

Position Summary

ARDEM is looking for a detail-oriented, production-focused Graphic Designer to support marketing, product literature, and technical documentation for a growing US-based client. The ideal candidate has a background in graphic design within industries such as construction supply, commercial building products, or manufacturing; where design work is technical in nature (e.g., working with 3D renderings, product specifications, dimensional drawings, and line art). This is a marketing and production design role; the candidate is not expected to create engineering drawings or perform technical drafting.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Documentation Support

• Update Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Installation Instructions, and Product Specification Sheets by revising text content, formatting, branding elements (logos, watermarks), and layout; without creating the underlying engineering or dimensional drawings.
• Apply engineering revisions, template updates, and version control to existing documentation; prepare final production-ready files for internal review and publication.
• Update line art captions, dimensional copy, and technical text as directed; source images and spec drawings are provided by the client or internal engineering teams.

Production Design Support

• Update brochures, catalogs, sell sheets, marketing collateral, presentation materials, and product literature using established templates and brand guidelines.
• Apply layout changes, content revisions, and branding updates (logo swaps, color changes, watermarks); prepare files for print and digital distribution.
• Work with technically oriented marketing materials, including 3D product renderings, dimensional graphics, and product specification layouts; comfort with technical subject matter is important.

Product Image Editing

• Perform product image cleanup, background removal or replacement, color and finish adjustments, retouching, cropping, resizing, and optimization.
• Prepare production-ready image assets for both print and digital channels, including e-commerce, catalogs, and marketing materials.

Digital Asset Management

• Organize production files, maintain version control, archive completed work, and prepare packaged production files.
• Support ongoing management of Adobe Creative Suite assets; keep file libraries and document templates organized and up to date.

Production Workflow Support

• Incorporate review comments and revise artwork following stakeholder feedback; coordinate clarification requests with internal teams.
• Prepare revised versions for approval and support multiple revision cycles, maintaining accurate version control throughout the review process.
• Use Smartsheet or similar tools to support project tracking and meet deadlines across concurrent projects.
