Job summary

HT Digital Streams. We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to craft high-impact visuals for Hindustan Times, Mint, and Live Hindustan across social, email, and digital platforms.

You will collaborate with editors and marketing to turn trending topics into viral visuals, delivering assets for stories, features, and microsites in a fast-paced newsroom setting.

Qualifications

• Speed and quality in delivering newsroom visuals under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with Figma or After Effects is a plus.
• Strong sense for typography and layout for digital/mobile consumption.
• Recent graduate or final-year student in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create social media creatives, infographics, and thumbnails for Hindustan Times and Mint properties.
• Design visual assets for news stories, long-form features, and digital microsites.
• Design emailers, app banners, and marketing collateral for digital subscriptions.
• Collaborate with editors, product managers, and marketing to translate topics into visuals.

We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to create high-impact visuals for some of the country’s most-read digital platforms. What You’ll Do

• Digital Storytelling: Create social media creatives, infographics, and thumbnails for Hindustan Times and Mint properties.
• Editorial Support: Design engaging visual assets for news stories, long-form features, and special digital microsites.
• Brand Marketing: Assist in designing emailers, app banners, and marketing collateral for our digital subscription products.
• Collaboration: Work closely with editors, product managers, and the marketing team to translate trending topics into viral visuals.

What We Look For

• Speed & Quality: Ability to deliver high-quality designs under tight newsroom deadlines.
• Toolbox: Mastery of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Knowledge of Figma or After Effects is a huge plus.
• Design Sense: A strong eye for typography and layout—specifically for digital/mobile consumption.
• Education: Recent graduate or final-year student in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field.
