Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in graphic design principles including typography, layout, color theory and branding.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDraw and Premiere Pro.
• Experience in digital and print design workflows for posters, logos and social media creatives.
• Teaching, training or mentoring ability with lesson planning and learner evaluation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain concepts clearly.
• Industry experience in graphic design or related fields is desirable.
• Collaborative mindset to work with academic and administrative teams on events and workshops.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and staying updated with current trends and technologies.

Role Description

The Graphic Design Faculty role is a full-time, on-site position based at INSD Surat. The faculty member will teach graphic design courses, deliver lectures, lead studio classes, and guide learners through practical projects and portfolio development. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and assignments, demonstrating design tools and techniques, and providing constructive feedback and evaluation. The role involves mentoring learners on design fundamentals, digital design workflows, and industry trends, as well as supporting academic events, reviews, workshops, and exhibitions. The faculty member will collaborate with colleagues to maintain curriculum quality, update course content, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in graphic design principles, including typography, layout, color theory, branding, and visual communication.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDraw, Adobe Premiere Pro).
• Experience in digital and print design workflows, such as posters, logos, social media creatives, marketing collateral.
• Demonstrated teaching, training, or mentoring ability, with skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and learner evaluation.
