Job summary

vidaXL is seeking a skilled Video Designer to craft compelling visuals for our dropshipping platform and social media. You will work closely with the core design team, using approved templates to deliver cohesive banners and promo videos, while localizing content for multiple languages.

You bring 4–6 years of experience, strong Adobe CC skills, and a passion for staying ahead of design trends. This is a full-time onsite Hyderabad role requiring a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic & motion design or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in video design.
• Proficiency in Adobe CC: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong eye for color theory, typography, and composition.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

Creating key visuals for dropshipping platform and social media channels, you will collaborate closely with our core design team to create engaging and impactful Banners and videos. Reporting to the Design Production Team Lead, you will utilize templates and guidelines to produce compelling content tailored to our platform's needs.

Key Qualifications

• Content Creation: Design and Develop video content for our dropshipping platform and social media channels, including advertisements, product showcases, and promotional videos.
• Template Utilization: Utilize templates provided by our core design team to create visually appealing and cohesive video content.
• Localization: Adapt and localize existing Banners & videos from English to multiple languages, ensuring cultural relevance and resonance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members to understand project requirements.
• Adherence to Design Standards: Ensure that all the content meets established standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address design challenges creatively and effectively, seeking innovative solutions when necessary.
• Deadline Management: Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality video content within stipulated timeframes.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in video design techniques to enhance skills and deliver innovative content.

Requirements

• Minimum Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in graphic & motion design, Multimedia Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience, plus at least 2 years of experience in video design.
• Proficiency in Adobe CC software, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Understanding of design principles and techniques, including color theory, typography, and composition.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software.
• Experience working with style guides is preferred.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
• Result-oriented mindset with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
• Fluency in English is required, proficiency in other languages is beneficial.
• Available to work 40 hours per week in Hyderabad, India.
• Preferred Skills and Experience: Graphic and motion design, Experience in tools like photoshop, Illustrator, PPT, InDesign and After effects.
