Job summary

Nivtor Engineers in Thane is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our growing team. You will design and analyze structural systems for a variety of USA-based projects, including commercial, residential, university and K-12 buildings, leveraging your knowledge of codes and industry practices.

Based in our Thane office, you will collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams while ensuring compliance with IBC, ACI318, ASCE7 and AISC standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering; PhD in Structural Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations using relevant software and tools.
• Develop structural drawings and specifications.
• Review and interpret construction documents and shop drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other project team members, and participate in project meetings.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes and standards.

Job Summary: Nivtor Engineers is seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our growing team. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for a variety of projects, primarily based in the USA, from our Thane office. The types of projects include commercial, residential, university and K-12 buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural principles, building codes, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations using relevant software and tools.
• Develop structural drawings and specifications.
• Review and interpret construction documents and shop drawings,
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other project team members, and participate in project meetings.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes and standards.
• Review and annotate shop drawings and RFI documents.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering (PhD in Structural Engineering is a plus).
• 3+ years of experience in structural engineering design (US Projects preferred).
• Knowledge of IBC, ACI318, ASCE7 and AISC codes.
• Professional Engineer (Preferred but not required).
• Proficiency in RISA-3D, Tekla Structural Designer, SAP2000, spColumn, Bluebeam and Revit.
• Strong understanding of structural documents and shop drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
