Job summary

IRM Energy Limited is looking for a qualified professional in Daman to ensure the effective implementation of HSE management systems across projects and operational sites. Key responsibilities include conducting safety audits, managing emergency responses, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a B.E. or B. Tech. in Fire and Safety Engineering or related fields, along with hands-on experience in HSE practices.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B. Tech. in Fire and Safety Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical.
• Experience with HSE management system implementation.
• Knowledge of ERDMP, IMS, T4S, ISO, Factory Act, SPCB standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of HSE management system at projects and O&M site.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure remedial suggestions are followed.
• Manage emergency situation drills and train relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and implement hazard identification and risk assessment plans.
• Support corporate HSE in incident investigations.

• Ensure the implementation of HSE management system at the projects and O&M site.
• Planning & conduct workplace safety audits and ensure that any remedial recommendations are implemented
• Ensure that statutory requirements are being upheld throughout the organization
• Preparation & implementation of activity base Hazard identification and risk assessment with control measures
• To advise purchasing and ensuring quality of EHS related equipment confirming to national standards.
• Trains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards (ERDMP, IMS, T4S, ISO, Factory Act, SPCB etc).
• Preparation & implementation of Emergency Response & Disaster management plan with reference to applicable standard.
• Provide HSE support for initial incident response & support corporate HSE in incident investigation.
• Ensure suggested control measures post hazard identification and risk assessment are implemented in GA
• Conduct PNG and CNG awareness sessions for employees, contractors and customers.
• Monitoring Project, Operation & Maintenance executions for identifying improvement areas and implement adequate precautionary measures to minimize risk up to acceptable level.
• Ensure to conduct HSE & AI performance review meeting including GA HSE committee meeting at the operational level.
• Coordination with all functions & Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with people at all levels of an organization.
