Job description

Position Summary

This is a full‑time on‑site role located in Noida for a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Coperion. The trainee should have good communication skills and the ability to carry out work plans while working in close coordination with the reporting head. After carefully performing assigned tasks, the trainee must regularly report to the head in a systematic manner. The trainee will undergo apprenticeship/training for the first 12 months and, based on performance and manager feedback, the position will be confirmed after the training period.

Work You’ll Do

Graduate engineer trainees work for the engineering profession and initially assist the engineers. They support senior engineers in engineering processes and project execution. Key activities include preparing data sheets, process engineering documentation, project reports, procurement updates, dispatch planning, and performing project calculations. Trainees are required to learn and perform in each area promptly and with excellence. They will also travel to production sites and customer sites as needed.

Team

This role will be part of the Project and Design Engineering Team.

Basic Qualifications

• B.E. – Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed technical studies or educated technician
• Knowledge in mechanical/chemical engineering and basic process technology
• Experience in order handling within the plant engineering industry, especially for the processing industry
• Good English skills in writing and reading
• Technical and economical mindset, solution‑oriented, flexible, communicative, and a team player
