Experience:

Candidates are required to submit an experience certificate at the time of document verification, which should clearly state the administrative duties and responsibilities performed by the candidate. The experience should also be supported by official documents.

The experience requirements will be considered as per the Government of Maharashtra General Administration Department Circular No. SRV-2004/P.No.10/04/12, dated 03/07/2004.

For educational qualifications, the equivalence provided by the Ministry of Human Resource Department (Education Department) of the Government from time to time for appointment in Central Government service will be considered for appointment in Municipal Corporation service, as per the Government Decision, General Administration Department, No. RGD-1511/P.No.89/2011/13, dated 23/8/2011.

It is also mentioned that courses from autonomous institutes must be equivalent to the courses approved by the UGC (University Grants Commission), and the educational qualification should be as per the relevant order and decision of the Central and State Governments.

Candidates are responsible for providing self-evident documents declared as equivalent or equivalent by the Government for the concerned posts.

Selection Method:

• Candidates may be selected based on their educational qualifications and experience.
• The exam will be conducted online, and the date and time will be communicated to candidates via email or SMS.
• Candidates will be selected based on merit alone, and no oral examination will be conducted for Group B and Group C posts.
• A minimum of 45% marks is required to be included in the merit list.
• After the examination, the marks obtained by eligible candidates will be published on the website.
• Answer sheets will not be graded or re-examined, and no complaints will be entertained.
• Candidates falling within the potential selection area will be called for document verification, and the shortlist and waiting list will be published on the website.

Exam Fee:

• The fee for Open Category Candidates is Rs. 1000, while for Backward Category Candidates, it is Rs. 900.
• Fees must be paid online, and Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the examination fee.
• A copy of the online receipt for payment must be submitted along with the online application and documents at the time of the examination.
• If a candidate applies for more than one post, a separate application and examination fee must be submitted for each post.

Application Registration:

• Candidates must go to the pmc.gov.in website and click on “APPLY ONLINE.”
• To register, candidates must enter their name, contact details, and email id. A temporary registration number and password will be generated and sent via email and SMS.
• Candidates can save the application form and use the “Save and Next” facility to verify details before submitting.
• Candidates should carefully fill in all details, and any change/discrepancy may disqualify the candidature.
• Candidates should verify their details before clicking on ‘Registration Complete’ and proceed to payment.
