Job summary

Jero Technologies in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a hands-on Go backend developer to build scalable services.

You will work with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and IoT data streams, optimizing PostgreSQL queries and implementing robust messaging with MQTT and queues.

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes/K3s is a plus; experience with on-prem deployments is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Go (Golang) and backend development.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture and production-grade systems.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems, multithreading and concurrency.
• Hands-on experience with MQTT and message queues/event-driven systems.
• Understanding of real-time data processing and IoT systems.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL including query optimization, indexing, and large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Docker.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and networking.
• Exposure to Kubernetes/K3s is a plus.
• Experience with on-premises/non-cloud deployments is preferred.
