Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development using Java and/or Golang.
• Hands-on with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing REST and gRPC APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Redis and JWT Authentication.
• Experience with Maven and Gradle build tools.
• Proficiency with GitHub/GHE and Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server and advanced SQL development.
• Experience with Solace Queue and messaging systems.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Golang and Java (Java 8+).
• Build and enhance RESTful and gRPC APIs to support business and system integrations.
• Develop applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT.
• Utilise Redis for caching, session management, and performance optimisation.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Integrate and manage messaging solutions using Solace Queue and event-driven architectures.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Enterprise, and Azure DevOps.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage workloads in Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Analyse technical documentation and convert business and technical requirements into efficient, maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Summary
