Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Engineer with strong backend expertise in GoLang and hands-on experience with TypeScript-based application development. The ideal candidate will contribute to building internal developer platforms and productivity tools, including custom VS Code extensions, scalable microservices, and secure enterprise integrations.

Resource has to work in Pacific TimeZone.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development (Mandatory)

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and microservices using GoLang.
• Build scalable, resilient, and secure APIs to support internal developer tools and platform capabilities.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability across distributed systems.

VS Code Extension Development

• Develop and enhance VS Code extensions that improve developer productivity and streamline engineering workflows.
• Integrate extensions with backend services, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Ensure a seamless user experience through intuitive and performant extension design.

Full-Stack Development

• Build and maintain web-based applications and tooling using TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Collaborate across frontend and backend layers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Develop reusable components, services, and libraries that support platform scalability.

Identity & Security Integration

• Implement and integrate enterprise authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Active Directory (AD).
• Ensure secure access management, role-based authorization, and compliance with organizational security standards.
• Work closely with security teams to adopt best practices for application and platform security.

Architecture & Platform Engineering

• Contribute to the design and evolution of microservices-based architectures for internal developer platforms.
• Drive engineering best practices around scalability, observability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Participate in architectural discussions, technology evaluations, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to deliver solutions that operate reliably at enterprise scale.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with GoLang (mandatory).
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern web development frameworks (React, Node.js, or similar).
• Experience designing and developing microservices and REST/gRPC APIs.
• Hands-on experience with VS Code Extension development.
• Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, Active Directory, and SSO integrations.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and software engineering best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building internal developer platforms, engineering productivity tools, or developer experience (DevEx) solutions.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Exposure to platform engineering and enterprise-scale application development.
