At GoDaddy, the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is an in-office position. You’ll eventually be expected to work full-time in an office location, and therefore must live within commuting distance from your assigned office. If your designated office has re-opened to employees, you will work from this office beginning on your first day. If your designated office is not yet re-opened, you’ll work remotely until leadership transitions the team back to in-office work. Your hiring manager will communicate whether your designated office is open to employees before your first day.

Responsibilities:

A Manager of Systems Admin at Digital Care will be focused on supervising the end-to-end integration process and activities for Live Chat SaaS Platform – LivePerson to support the continuous growth of the business. You will work in conjunction with the platform vendor, DC Engineering, Care & Services and Product Management teams as a key technical advisor and product advocate for our solutions, ensuring that Digital Care consistently delivers superior service and support to internal and external customers.

  1. Design, implement, configure, and maintain software-as-a-service (SaaS) and platform associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of data for company planning and operations.
  2. Perform basic or advanced configuration, setup, and updating of platform, including but not limited to table definitions and access control.
  3. Translate and match stakeholders and business requirements to platform capabilities. Set up user accesses and train users on the applications.
  4. Recommend and implement changes in applications development, configuration, maintenance, and system standards.
  5. Plan and execute operationally reliable implementations leveraging basic to advanced platform capabilities; able to successfully debug complex platform issues or misconfigurations in Production.
  6. Support Product Managers and partner with Tech leads to prioritize the integration activities.
  7. Lead troubleshooting system problems and updating service incidents with details.
  8. Be part of an on-call rotation and join engineering discussions when urgent scenarios arise.
  9. Develop new capabilities for level two technical support and maintain that platform for continuous seamless operation.
  10. Stewardship of platform updates and maintenance.
  11. Ownership of safe platform turn up/down protocols during incidents.
  12. Oversee the integration progress to ensure successful rollout and smooth operations.
  13. Plan, coordinate and manage all aspects of integration activities, including coordinating with engineering, product, and vendor resources as well as Care & Services resources in accordance with project management best practices.
  14. Champion platform testing and quality tools, drive, and document new standards, templates, and best practices within team and across teams that result in increased efficiency.
  15. Participate in design sessions and integration discussions with tech leads.
  16. Keep the stakeholders and leadership regularly informed of the status of integration progress and production issues.
  17. Act as the primary point of contact for GoDaddy stakeholders with respect to LivePerson platform integration projects.
  18. Help remove barriers for existing and potential partners by clearly articulating LivePerson integration technology and helping scope projects with a relentless drive for quality.
  19. Become an expert on technical integration technologies, such as API operations, JavaScript, and JSON concepts, as well as other web and database technology.
Your Experience Should Include:
  1. 10+ years of Technology experience.
  2. Champion in Operational-Excellence.
  3. Strong ownership of the platform and forward-thinking on the integration solutions.
  4. Good communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with cross-functional teams.
  5. Strong team player with the ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced ever-changing environment.
  6. Oriented to promoting process improvement.
  7. Knowledgeable about scripting languages like JavaScript.
  8. Awareness of service-oriented architecture, Enterprise Integration Patterns, SOAP web services and RESTful.
  9. Knowledgeable about AWS Cloud Computing.
