mercor seeks a Software Engineer, Go to work on Codebase Q&A tasks remotely. You will select tasks from a pre-validated pool of Go repositories, understand subsystems, and align with gold solutions.

You will rewrite questions, adjust rubrics, run validation loops, and document work for expert review. The role emphasizes precise English and proficiency with Git and containerized environments.

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with substantial production Go.
• Ability to navigate a large, unfamiliar Go codebase and explain runtime behavior.
• Fluency in Go concurrency, interfaces, module boundaries, and the standard library.
• Precise written English for crafting questions and rubrics.
• Comfortable with git at commit level, containerized environments, and command-line tooling.
