Position: Technical Project Manager

Total experience: 7+ yrs

7+ years’ experience managing IT Infrastructure / Cloud, Enterprise Security, or Financial Application integration projects in one or more of the following areas: Cloud Transformation.

Working knowledge of some: AWS, Azure, Microsoft Active Directory, O365, SQL servers, Windows and Linux servers and clients, Windows OS Upgrades, NAS/SAN Storage, Data networking, Oracle, SharePoint, Wireless, Enterprise releases, Atlassian, Cloud, Cisco, Security (PCI DSS, NIST, etc.), FinTech Audits.

Understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.

Understanding of technology concepts, trends, and capabilities.

Able to understand people and technologies with the ability to know what questions to ask to guide someone through solving a problem (without knowing the subject matter).

Must be able to facilitate discussion and discover alternatives or different approaches.

Experience delivering iterative solutions using standard project management methodologies.

Proven experience in managing multiple, concurrent, technical projects.

Proven experience in time, meetings, and resource management.

Proven experience in consistent and accurate status tracking and reporting.

Experience managing both internal and outsourced IT resources.

Excellent interpersonal communications skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organization levels.

Experience working both independently and in a cross-functional team-oriented environment is essential.

Ability to assess and deliver the appropriate level of detail and comfortable reporting status to all levels of the organization.

Be communicative and social, assertive and enthusiastic.

Demonstrated high proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.

As a CIO Project Manager, you’ll report to the CIO Program Manager and be responsible for managing a diversity of Enterprise Security, Cyber Threat Management, Cloud Engineering, and Support Engineering (Help Desk) projects in an AWS environment.

The PM will work closely with all CIO teams, some CTO teams, as well as Business functional teams.

It is critical you partner within Information Technology to identify project deliverables and timelines, lead and run meetings, confirm project scope, develop detailed project plans, identify, document, and facilitate the resolution of project risks, work with all stakeholders to ensure accountability for project deliverables being met on time and within budget while having a great time in service to our customers.

BA, BS, or MA, MS degree (in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline is a plus).
