Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Global Business Process Consultant for Warehousing to join the Global Supply Chain IT team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on applying warehousing technologies and designing cross‑functional IT solutions to enterprise challenges.

You will lead blueprinting, design, and configuration of warehouse processes, integrate SAP ERP with YMS, and translate business needs into scalable IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
• 6–8 years hands-on experience; 3–5 years in warehouse solutions.
• Strong IBM i (AS/400) and RPG experience in logistics.
• Experience with SAP integration and YMS.
• Good communication, time management and presentation skills.
• Cross-functional collaboration with operations and IT.

Responsibilities

• Lead blueprinting and design of warehouse core functionalities (Inbound/Outbound, internal movements, inventory).
• Oversee integration touchpoints between SAP ERP and YMS.
• Analyze business/technical needs and translate to IT tools.
• Identify opportunities to replace legacy systems with IT solutions.
• Collaborate with warehouse ops, logistics providers, data science, and IT.
• Deliver warehousing implementations from requirements to go-live and support.
• Perform unit and integration testing with business users.
• Track project plans and schedules and adjust priorities to meet timelines and budgets.

Job description

Primary Purpose of the Position:

The Global Business Process Consultant for Warehousing will be a member of the global Supply Chain IT team applying their expertise in warehousing technologies to provide competitive solutions to enterprise-wide challenges. This project focused role, will function in a technical Business Systems Analyst capacity, working closely with business partners and applying digital expertise in a business/technical system area. Additionally, the architect will strive for cross-functional and cross-platform solutions providing guidance to departmental and divisional Business/Technical Management on IT/ Digital Strategies and Initiatives.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Configuration: Lead the blueprinting, detailed design, configuration of warehouse core functionalities (e.g., Inbound/Outbound processing, Internal Warehouse Movements, Physical Inventory).
• System Integration: Oversee and configure integration touchpoints between legacy warehouses systems, specifically SAP ERP and YMS (Yard Management).
• Analyze business/technical needs and translate process into practice through the current Information Technology tool sets.
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing operations using new IT technology as a replacement for legacy systems manual effort.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with warehouse operations, logistics providers, data science teams, and internal IT to translate complex supply chain business requirements into scalable, technology‑forward solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering in warehousing implementation, from requirements gathering to go‑live and support.
• Perform unit end‑to‑end testing, conducting integration testing, and partnering with business users for user acceptance testing.
• Providing adequate analysis and supporting documentation to enable management to develop effective work plans and project schedules (track to project plans and monitor results).
• Adjusting priorities to accomplish objectives on time and under budget.

Experience and Education:

Academic bachelor’s degree in related discipline 6-8 years of hands on experience (3-5 years of experience in warehouse solutioning)

Skills & Abilities (Required)

• Technical Skills: iBM i (AS/400) and RPG Strong understanding experience in logistics, focusing on warehouse execution and inventory management
• Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
• System Integration: Experience with integrating with other enterprise applications and third‑party tools.
• Good communication, time management and presentation skills
• Strong team Player

Preferred Knowledge

• Familiarity with CA 2E
• Familiarity with SAP
