Job summary

ADM India Hub is seeking a Data & Insights Specialist to shape analytics across direct and indirect spend. You will own data insights, performance metrics, and advanced analytics for the Source-to-Pay process, partnering with Procurement and BU stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of analytics, BI, data engineering or related experience, preferably in procurement or supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Data Science or related field.
• Experience with multiple ERPs (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, Coupa/Ariba) is a plus.

Position Summary:

The Global Procurement department is looking for a highly motivated Data & Insights Specialist to join the team. This key role within Procurement will lead efforts to develop and maintain data insights across all categories of spend managed by the Global Procurement team as well as performance metrics and advanced analytics for the Source-to-Pay Process. This position blends technical expertise with strong business acumen and close partnership with Procurement and Business Unit stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

Data & Insights Innovation & Enhancements:

• Implement prioritized enhancements to a data & insights ecosystem that supports every aspect of the source to pay process for both direct and indirect categories of goods & services
• Leverage technologies such as SQL Server, Power BI/Fabric, Databricks, Power Automate, and Agent Studios to build, test and deploy insights products for the Global Procurement team
• Partner with IT to support the transformation from a disparate data-source solution to a formal enterprise data warehouse solution on the Azure/Databricks platform by implementing a scalable source to pay data model
• Play a key role in testing the effectiveness of AI enabled solutions through quality structured and unstructured data inputs
• Bridge technical data capabilities with Procurement business context to create insights that directly support sourcing strategies and enterprise value

Data & Insights Maintenance:

• Monitor and evaluate data pipelines and refreshes for errors, applying sustainable fixes when necessary
• Identify opportunities for improving data pipelines to support a more sustainable insights environment
• Transfer legacy data pipelines to new technologies and/or leveraging new features of existing technologies
• Evaluate and act on opportunities to consolidate data products to result in a more concise, higher performing and easier to use set of data products
• Build and maintain processes/procedures that support insights solutions

Data & Insights Support:

• Provide exceptional customer support to users of our data & insights ecosystem, primarily Global Procurement colleagues
• Apply technical and business-minded troubleshooting skills to evaluate and solve vague support requestsComplete routine tasks & stakeholder requests to ensure availability of high-quality insights

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong blend of technical and interpersonal skills
• Strong skills with database languages (SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL)
• Skilled with data visualization tools and coding syntax used by them (i.e. Power BI & DAX/M)
• Strong understanding of how databases and data models work
• Eagerness to learn and work on a wide variety of projects
• Strategic focus with an ability to prioritize, self-manage and focus on performance excellence
• Language: Fluent in English. German, Portuguese, or Spanish is a plus

Education & Experience:

• 3–5+ years of analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or related experience (Procurement or Supply Chain preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related field required
• Experience working with data across multiple ERPs preferred, especially the following: SAP S/4HANA, Infor XA, Infor M3, Oracle Fusion Cloud, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Coupa/SAP Ariba.

  Preferred experience in Food/Agri-business manufacturing industry
