Job summary

StoneX Group Inc. is seeking a skilled writer/editor to produce sharp, on-brand content across video-derived and market-driven formats. You will edit and write for YouTube, social, articles and white papers with rapid turnaround.

You will fluently use AI writing tools to accelerate output, refine drafts, and ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong SEO. Collaboration with the content and marketing teams will be essential to deliver cohesive messaging.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' track record editing/writing for digital channels with a portfolio of long-form and short-form work.
• Hands-on fluency with AI writing tools and prompting used daily.
• Genuine interest in financial markets to spot inaccuracies or off-key content.
• Strong SEO instincts including keyword research and on-page optimization.
• Comfortable working with modern CMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress, Sitecore) and basic HTML.
• Editorial standards for grammar, accuracy and compliance in regulated industries.
• Ability to partner with multimedia teams to produce cohesive content.

Position Purpose

Produce sharp, accurate, on-brand written content that turns StoneX's market expertise and studio output into engaging stories across our channels. This is a role for a strong writer and editor who is fluent with modern AI tools and curious about financial markets, and who uses both to produce excellent content quickly. The work spans editing and original writing, with the support and direction of a close-knit content team. The aim is more relevant content from a deep well of experts, published faster, always in StoneX's voice, helping position the firm as a thought-leader in its industry.

Technology Ecosystem

LLM and AI writing tools with prompt workflows (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT), WordPress / Sitecore, HubSpot, Google Analytics 4, SEMrush / Ahrefs, Grammarly Business, Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, Jira / Confluence, and basic HTML.

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include:

• Write and edit crisp, platform-specific copy from studio video output and market developments, across YouTube, social, articles, and white-paper drafts, with quick turnaround.
• Use AI writing tools fluently to accelerate your work, then shape everything into accurate, on-brand copy.
• Handle on-page basics: metadata, titles, tags, and CTAs.
• Publish and maintain content within the company CMS, keeping links, visuals, and accessibility in order.
• Follow the style guide to keep everything on-brand, accurate, and compliant.
• Work closely with the wider content and marketing team, taking direction on messaging, channels, and timing.
• Use performance feedback from the team to keep sharpening your work.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

• A demonstrable 3+ years' track record of editing and writing for digital channels, with a portfolio showing both polished long-form and sharp short-form work. We care about what you can do, not how many years it took to get there.
• Real, hands-on fluency with AI writing tools and prompting. You already use them daily and understand their failure modes.
• Genuine interest in and working understanding of financial markets, enough to spot when content is wrong, thin, or off-key.
• Strong SEO instincts: keyword research, on-page optimization, and the practical habits that go with them.
• Comfortable working in modern CMS platforms (e.g. Drupal, WordPress, Sitecore) and basic HTML.
• Solid editorial standards across grammar and accuracy, plus awareness of compliance requirements in regulated industries.
• Comfortable partnering with multimedia teams (video, design) to produce cohesive content.

What makes you stand out

• Background in trading, asset management, or markets and personal-finance journalism.
• Experience building or automating content workflows (prompt libraries, templates, light scripting, or no-code automation).
• Experience ghost-writing for senior executives or subject-matter experts.
• Working knowledge of marketing automation (HubSpot, Pardot) and CRM workflows.
• Comfort with basic image and video editing to fine-tune thumbnails or social visuals.
• An appetite for staying current with developments in content, SEO, financial markets, and AI tools. You take real pride in your work and care about producing copy that is genuinely good, not just finished.
• You are energized by having several things on the go at once and can switch between them quickly without losing the thread.
• You are pragmatic about AI: you treat a first draft, yours or a tool's, as starting point, and you enjoy shaping it into something sharp and accurate.
