Job summary

Sandoz is seeking a Global Associate Director, Business Analyst Pipeline & Portfolio Solutions to drive ATHENA development, translating forecasting needs into clear requirements and user stories. You will bridge Forecasting CoE, platform leads, regional teams, pilot users, and technology delivery to ensure end-to-end success.

Lead workshops, refine backlogs, prepare UAT, and maintain traceability from requirements to delivery, while fostering governance and training materials across the ATHENA

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
• Experience managing requirements from elicitation through implementation and acceptance.
• Experience with user stories, process flows, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement.
• Experience preparing and supporting UAT, business validation, and defect resolution.
• Experience working with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, data teams, and external delivery partners.
• Pharmaceutical or life-sciences experience is preferred.
• Experience in forecasting, portfolio management, commercial planning, launch planning, or IBP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Capture and document business requirements from the Forecasting CoE, product platform leads, regional leads, and users.
• Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops to clarify forecasting processes, user journeys, governance requirements, and system functionality.
• Support backlog refinement and requirements prioritization with the Solution & Product Owner.
• Prepare UAT scenarios and test cases, coordinate business validation, and support defect triage.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability from business requirements through solution delivery and acceptance.
• Support documentation of ATHENA workflows, governance steps, training materials, user guidance, SOPs.
• Identify improvement opportunities based on user feedback, process performance, and evolving business needs.
• Support the integration and process boundaries between ATHENA, SANITY, EDP, and relevant downstream solutions.
